Greetings from Sibley Orchards!

Because of this heat apples will not keep as long. Be sure to store your apples in the fridge and have a plan to use your apples quickly.

Apples available at the fruit stand:

Jonathan apples are tart apples. Great for eating fresh, baking, apple sauce and apple butter. Because of the weather the Jonathans this week are field run, and #2s will be on the smaller side.

JonaGold apples are sweet-tart apple. They are a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious that are great for baking, apple sauce, apple butter, and eating fresh.

Golden Delicious apples are a sweet, crunchy apple. They are great for apple sauce and apple butter. They are also great for baking, juicing, and dehydrating.

Gala apples are sweet apples, great for apple sauce and dehydrating. It is the end of Gala season and are probably now best for cooking instead of eating.

#2 Apples are great for cooking and baking projects. For the best flavor and texture be sure to store your apples in the fridge. Apples avaialble as #2s: Jonathan, JonaGold, and Gala

We should have more tomatoes in Saturday.

Hours: 10-4 Monday, 10-4 Wednesday-Saturday, 12-3 Sunday. We are closed on Tuesdays.
